And the reason why you don't hear "white pride" is because white people are now going by their nationalities. You hear Irish pride, or Italian pride, or German pride. Since many blacks don't know what African country they are originally from, they just group it together as Black pride. Also MANY Latinos and Asians are proud of their roots as well.

That's how I was raised, very little thought was ever given to being "white" or being proud of it. Plenty of ancestral/ethnic pride though.

At comparable levels to blacks? Nationality/Ethnicity =/= Race. I don't think anyone focuses on race as much as blacks and I've given several reasons why I feel that way, I can give more.

No one should be proud of anything that they themselves did not earn. You didn't choose to be white or Irish, you were born with it.

I'm Italian, Irish, and Scottish. I'm confused as to what heritage I should be proud of.
I'm partial to the Italian side when it comes to food, but the Irish side when it comes to drinking. I love me some Whiskey and Scotch.
