Actually I think it is the biggest success ever for a college sports network at this point in its life cycle. I don't think any of them- LHN, B1G, PAC, etc.- had partners like Dish and AT&T year one. I think they already have enough to cover costs which is huge.
Plus many of these arrangements will go to the last minute. Football is driving the bus and that is common. So no deals now is OK.
For example, many of the providers who did get the LHN announced it a week before the first game.
I bet by the SECN first game two other big ones sign on. By next season they will cover most of the SEC with agreements.
