I just called them and they have been swamped with callers wanting to receive the programming. Oddly, I am talking about residents in south central Kansas.
I probably contacted them half a dozen times requesting the network since I learned it was going to happen. So figured I owed them a "thanks."

I haven't had cable in 2 or 3 years, just internet. But I just signed up today for AT&T. When I called Time Warner to cancel my internet I explained my reasoning as, "I'm adding TV and they do not offer the SEC Network." I should have included the number of billboards in Kansas City, MISSOURI advertising the jayhawk network. But no channel option for Missouri fans.

If I had to guess, your in-house video production (jumbotron, streaming) is about to get a big boost. I work video for the Arkansas athletic department and we also just built a new control room for the SEC network, but we get to use it for everything else that isn't televised on SECN.
Right now we have control rooms at every venue, but now there will be one control room to rule them all in the basement of Bud Walton. We'll have cameras on site but everything will come out of that one main hub. All the other schools in the league are doing the same thing over time.
