just don't remember all the love during recruiting season and Moreno only got on the field after injuries to 2 RB's ahead of him..

this statement is an indictment of our talent evaluation under Richt...we redshirted Moreno...and he should have been playing that freshman year...then, as you said he only got the job his sophomore season due to injury...and turned out to be the tits...bad assessment of talent by our staff right there...imho

The Moreno shite was a whiff on their part but in the Richtard's defense 2006 we had a stable of backs we knew were good in Lumpkin, Brown, and Ware. No one knew Moreno was better.

But now I feel dirty having defended Mark.

Hindsight is 20/20. We had Lumpkin, Brown, and Ware all ahead of him on the depth chart, all of which were pretty proven and could easily be the #1 if we asked them to.

Imagine having gurley, marshall, and then another thomas brown on the team going into this year. Michel/Chubb could end up being all americans, but going INTO the season it's not crazy to think they should be redshirted.
