And like it or not 'engineering' is in the title of the university I attended.

Did you get a degree in engineering while you were there or at least majored in it?

If not...why does that even matter. I know, not related to the discussion at all...

You could have studied English for all we fricking know.

What engineering studies have you ever partaken in, undergraduate or beyond? If you haven't studied it, what field experience do you have in an engineering discipline?

The temperatures of burning jet fuel can easily bring the tensile strength of steel down more than far enough for the load of a freaking skyscraper to cause failure.
