I'll admit to being biased against UGA, but I'm not that biased. I have as much experience with the fanbase, or more, than the average UGA fan.
I think LSU (wild and loud), Bama (criminally insane) TAMU (frighteningly devoted) and Auburn (family!) would all have good claims. SCAR would too for weathering the terrible years. I think UGA is a great fan base, I just can't think of any superlatives to give them.

We take 20K fans across the mississippi for regular season away games. We travel as well as any other SEC school.

The point was not necessarily to criticize your opinion, but to suggest that it's all so subjective and these rankings are inherently pointless.
UGA - fans show up late and relentlessly make baseless claims or comments about the coaching staff
AU - Sure didn't seem like a family during 2012
Bama/UF/LSU/UT have all had recent attendance problems
aTm - we'll know more about their fans when Johnny Football is gone and the newness if expansion wears off in the future
USCe - my first experience there was in '06 and they hadn't been good in a while. They were loud as hell and on their feet for the first 5 mins. Then after the first drive the guy beside me threw his hands up and said "same ole shite," and sat down for the rest of the game.
My only point was that these lists are so subjective that it's ridiculous. Same for everybody's opinion of them. All fan bases are the same, some are just bigger.
