Jesus H Christ. This isn't a conversation about moral superiority. I don't know why you keep thinking it is. No one is saying that we're better or more pious because we punish harder or more publicly. We wish that we wouldn't because it really doesn't help the team when you have 3 players suspended for the first 2 games. We wish Richt wasn't like that, it's just the way it is.

Since the first offense punishment is obviously the most common punishment issued, it's a bigger deal than you're making it out to be.
