Wind is pretty prevelant in Omaha actually
Of course it is. Less than 30 minute drive to the east in Iowa is one of the largest wind turbine electricity generating farms in the country.

There are literally hundreds of 12-15 story high wind turbines as far as the eye can see both to the south and north of the interstate on the way to Des Moines.

But the wind can't get down into the hole that is TDA Stadium.

I've never been there when at least one game was not called or delayed for weather ... usually bad thunderstorms. I've never been there when at least one game, usually more, were not determined by said storm's influence in one way or another - usually residual winds on the outskirt of a storm whipping through somewhere else.

It'll happen this year.
