I think he means that he was going to commit to the first big local program that offered him. It's not like he hesitated on accepting the UGA offer.
That's how it works a lot of times for prospects in areas like where he's from. When an offer's on the table they take it. None of the diva crap, just grateful for the opportunity

That makes sense. Kind of like being in a loyalty type situation.

Agreed. He was saying he would have likely committed initally to whichever school offered first.
Also, he is a South GA kid being recruited by Bobo. He was just giving in to the inevitable if we're all being honest with ourselves.
