Then why not wait and see if Auburn was going to offer if they were fixing to pull the trigger? Doesn't add up.

I think he means that he was going to commit to the first big local program that offered him. It's not like he hesitated on accepting the UGA offer.
That's how it works a lot of times for prospects in areas like where he's from. When an offer's on the table they take it. None of the diva crap, just grateful for the opportunity
