247Sports has learned that a final decision on the transfer of former Georgia safety Tray Matthews should be announced this week. Matthews, who made 36 tackles, 23 solo, 1.5 tackles for loss, an interception, broke up four passes and forced one fumble in 2013 as a true freshman, was dismissed last week. He announced intentions to transfer to Louisville or Auburn shortly before Mark Richt announced his departure from the team. Matthews visited Auburn over the weekend.
Look for an announcement in the next 24 hours. Matthews will sit out the 2014 season and should have three years to play three.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Matthews was the No. 8 prospect in Georgia, No. 8 safety in the country, and No. 79 prospect in the 2013 class. He was the highest rated signee for Georgia that year, and would be the fourth-highest in Auburn's class for the 2013 recruiting cycle.

Would y'all really want him? I know it's an ongoing joke w/ y'all taking our cast offs but based on his attitude and overall demeanor, do y'all really want this kid?

Sure, we have nothing to lose by taking him. He has to sit for a year anyways so if he stays out of trouble he can play in 15. If he doesn't, then he is gone. All his issues are off the field, not on.

sure, then we'll kick him off if he's a problem. Why not?

I don't but that's because he seems different from the others...he seems like a twat compared to Cam, Nick, etc

The front angle shows JHC knocking it away.
