Fulmer only managed to recruit literally starting NFL rosters on both sides of the ball. How he ran the program and recruited in the 90s was a model sec coaches had to imitate. If you fail to see that the rest of the SEC had to play catch up to UF and UT then I can't help you.

How was that...recruit well? No shite, that's what every college coach has been attempting to do since recruiting began. Do you think people look at fulmer and say "hmmmm....UT is winning some games, looks like they've had some good recruiting classes....HEY WAIT A MINUTE! WE need to start recruiting good players too!"
