Mark Richt has never set a standard in this conference like Fulmer did in his prime

Please tell us what bar fulmer raised or standard he set?

Spurrier changed the landscape of the conference with the fun n gun. Meyer changed it again with his offense. Saban went back to grassroots with elite, punishing D and an excellent run game. Malzahn is making noise now with his version of hte spread.

Fulmer didn't change shite. Just because he won games doesn't mean he set some sort of standard.

Fulmer's defenses and running game were amazing in his prime. There's a reason why Tennessee still has some of the most players currently playing in the NFL. They were tied with Alabama going into the 2013 season with 30.

Fulmer only managed to recruit literally starting NFL rosters on both sides of the ball. How he ran the program and recruited in the 90s was a model sec coaches had to imitate. If you fail to see that the rest of the SEC had to play catch up to UF and UT then I can't help you.
