Posters who believe that Arkansas can't be successful playing the same style as Bama and Lsu, why do you believe this and why do you think it matters?

I think they can be successful enough.

That being said I place like Arkansas with weak or no in-state recruiting needs a unique offense to set them ahead. Instead what they have is a run heavy pro style Offense that isn't nearly as good as Bama's, LSU's, Florida's, or UGA's.

May be the dumbest statement I've seen on here.

Arkansas has never had a quirky offense. For four years Arkansas had a Petrino team who lined up in pro sets and threw the ball. Arkansas has NEVER had some spread hurry up system. NEVER. So why anyone would make a statesman like yours, is beyond me.

Yet, Arkansas has been a fairly successful program for 100+ years, running the football and playing solid defense.

What would so unique about running the same offense as aTm, Ole Miss, Auburn, Mizzou, etc in the SEC or Okie State, OU, TTU, K State near us?

Arkansas recruits are greatly undervalued by the recruiting sites, there may not be 25 SEC level recruits each year, but there are 8-12 on average.

It also isn't a coincidence that Arkansas' best teams while in the SEC have had a majority of starting players and 2 deep from Arkansas on the roster.
