UGA is much closer then USC that is for sure
There really arent that many elite programs right now. The last couple years has seen a big shift, especially with a lot of the big dogs struggling. If FSU can have another ridiculous season they would be up there with Alabama, Oregon, and maybe someone from the Big 10 , sorry couldnt type it with a straigt face.

Who, besides the auburn fan, has claimed that South Carolina is elite? We are nowhere near elite. I'd go as far to say that we aren't even a destination job, which was what kills was talking about in the OP.
We are an up and coming SEC program that have put the pieces of the puzzle in place to HOPEFULLY sustain success after spurrier. It all depends on who we hire and any speculation about that is moot, because nobody knows when spurrier will retire. My money is on 2017.
