i think they CAN be there within the next three or four years... they have the resources to be very good, just lack the recruiting pool... but the staff they have currently will hit texas and florida hard.

i think arkansas will have no issues having a successful offense under beilema... they won't put oregon like numbers, but they'll have a dynamic running game and adequate passing game. The issue will be can they find and develop the athletes necessary to compete on defense?... i'm not convinced, just looking at what they're bringing in.

This is the biggest question mark.

They were dead last in the SEC last year in scoring defense vs conference (37.9 ppg). MSU & UF (7 came off a pick six) were the only SEC team that scored less than 30 points on them.

This sums it up perfectly IMO

People keep saying we won't be able to run his type of offense in the SEC but that won't be an issue, the real question is the defense...like it always is with us. We have proven to be great as both a running team and passing team on offense within the last decade. But the times we have won double digit games are when we had an above average defense, which we haven't had the past few years
