Iowa could easily win 10 games next year. Finish the season ranked in or near the Top 10.

Possibly win their division.

Draw a solid bowl game.

Get smacked by an SEC team in said bowl game.

Prior to the bowl season of 2011 Alabama beat 4 teams with winning records (In 12 games) I sincerely apologize for saying 3 in an earlier post.

After the bowl season it did launch them to 7.

4 teams was all it took to get the nod for the big game.

And yes, I know, again...21-0.

The way we looked that night, we wouldn't have beat Central Michigan, so try not to take too much credit

I think it is funny when Auburn fans say Alabama's schedule is easy when their team is part of it. It is also funny because he's fat.

So that "fact" you stated about it being the easiest schedule of any BCS winner ever is wrong?

You do have to pardon me, I forgot completely that Florida and Moo state won their bowl games against Michigan and Ohio state. So never mind, beating 5 teams that finish the season with winning records is much better than the for mentioned 3.

and the fact that Bama's 2011 opponent's record was better than LSU's 2003 opponent's record.

I guess no one wanted to touch the bait I set up, when I showed the past BCS champions opponents records.

quote:

26 2012 Alabama 67-63 (.515) 3 6
27 2003 LSU 69-65 (.514) 3 5
28 2007 Ohio State 60-60 (.500) 1 5
29 1999 Virginia Tech 50-51 (.495) 1 5
30 2013 Florida State 61-64 (.488) 2 7
31 2013 Ohio State 64-68 (.485) 2 7
32 2010 Oregon 54-69 (.439) 1 5

This thread delivered some laughs.

OP posts a thread about Iowa's schedule.
LSU fans immediately (and predictably) try to make it an Alabama schedule thread.
That back fires (as usual).
And we all get to relive a little bit of 21-0.

Just like with the "Bama players in the NFL are a bust" and "SEC office helps Bama". The thread ALWAYS ends the same......silence.
