I do blame slive. I don't believe this is a democracy. He is charged with doing what is best for the conference and he failed. You have member institutions voting in their own self interests rather than what's fair and equitable for the teams and the fans. Basically you're asking welfare teams to vote for entitlement reform and when they predictably don't do it Slive throws his hands up and says he's done all he can do.

When the vast majority vote in one way, that seems equitable for the majority.

WHAT? The vote was 13-1 in favor of keeping an 8 game SEC schedule. How is that not fair an equitable for the majority?
