Roger.... 77-0.

seventy seven to zero.

We won three games that year, they played in the national title game. They were 30 point favorites. They might as well have been playing Idaho. The game was completely irrelevant.

LSU was being touted as the greatest team in the BCS era with the greatest defense of all-time. LSU had a 70-30 fan advantage, essentially a home game for the national title. LSU had already beaten Bama once.

Bama then went out and made LSU look like they didn't event belong in the SEC much less the BCS title game. Bama outgained LSU 398 yards to 92. LSU had 5 first downs and averaged 0.8 yards per carry. They were a combined 2-14 on third and fourth down. LSU had ONE PLAY longer than 8 yards.

Given all the factors surrounding the game, it was a legendary beatdown.

Since we bringing up irrelevant info, most LSU fans realize that what happened in the locker room before the game had a huge factor on the way we played in that game. So legendary beat down, nah. It is not even the worse beat down this decade in a BCSNC

There is nothing legendary about a 21 point spread, happens all the time
