Clemson doesn't worry me as much. They have totally new skill position guys, are on the road, and our pass rush should be able to take enough pressure off the secondary.
It's when we go on the road that I'm more concerned. Teams will be able to communicate better pre-snap and take advantage of looks that our young guys may telegraph.

One of Grantham's biggest enemies was attrition.
Pruitt is dealing with that right now.
And it makes most of us scared to death about who we are going to field in the secondary.
Imagine losing JHC, Matthews (possibly... there's lots of smoke on the internet), and Wiggins from our team and Langley from our secondary.
Pruitt is more than likely going to have to deal with Juniors leaving early, too (something that never really bit Grantham).

I'm not worried about Clemson at all. That offense in our game is going to be a shell of what it was last year and people seem to forget that we put up 35 on that D without Gurley and Mitchell for most of the game. All Mason has to do is not frick up and we should put around that same amount or more on them this year. There is little chance they can score as effectively this year as they could last. I think we win that game going away by 2 TDs or more.
On the road...you know, honestly this secondary cannot possibly be worse than last year. This defense as a whole can't. So we could literally just send everyone out there with earplugs in and they'd still have a great chance to look more like they knew exactly what they were doing and what was going on than those guys did last season.
If they can just actually get in position pre-snap, they've already got a huge head start on being better than last year's secondary and if they can telegraph something, I'll just be glad that our guys know what they are doing, that is a huge step in the right direction, we'll worry about not letting everyone else know later.
Someone else mentioned the Terry move a few posts ago as well and I just wanted to say I think that was a bad move as well. I do think he actually is likely to contribute as a S, unlike Langley at WR, but I still don't like the move.
