All kidding aside, if Kiffin is successful as a coordinator for 3-4 years I could see him taking a head coaching job in tSEC in a place like Mizzou (once Pinkel retires) or TAMU if Sumlin moves on to the NFL.

I could also see Billy Napier one day becoming an SEC head coach, but that's probably not anytime soon. Tosh Lupoi is also a wild card though once again it would take some time to rehab his image.

Also from UGA, I could see Bryan McLendon (current RB coach and Recruiting Coordinator) making his way into a HC position. I have heard it mentioned that he might be a top candidate for OC if Bobo ever goes elsewhere.

I think some assistants aren't head coach material... Kiffin seems to be one of them...

From recent comments Pinkel has made, he isn't going to retire anytime soon.

We would never hire Kiffin. Chad Morris will be the next A&M head coach.

all kidding aside I'd lay the odds that A&M ever hires Kiffin at about 4872 billion to 1. Chad Morris (alum), Tim Deruyter (former DC whose daughter now attends A&M), or one of Sumlin's assistants will almost certainly be our next coach.

And I really don't think we'll ever hire a failed coach that is a coordinator at another school. I'm not sure we'd even look at a coordinator tbh (it's what we told Morris), but I don't even see how a guy like Kiffen would possibly even be considered.
