And I wish you would understand we aren't going to change a fight song that has been sung for over 100 years all because we don't play them anymore. You say that by continuing to sing the song the way it is that we are failing to move on. I disagree, us changing a song we have sung for over 100 years all because of them gives them power over us. Not the other way around

Its tradition. We aren't just going to throw it away. That would be stupid

We're not "worried" about it.
It's a very old song--sung by generations of men who were much better than are we.
That's it.
Don't read into it any more than, it's tradition.
