Interesting to look at this to measure consistency in the two major money sports. I suspect UF will win this. I'm only talking about recent history (starting with 2000-2001 school year) and obviously not counting the NIT. How many school years has your school failed to make the NCAA basketball tournament AND not been invited to a bowl game?
Since 2000-01 A&M has made a bowl game or the NCAA tourney every school year since 04-05. We missed both in 02-03 and 03-04 (lol Fran and Melvin)
Since A&M joined the SEC:
13-14: Arkansas
12-13: Arkansas, Auburn, Kentucky, Tennessee

79, 93, 94. Make a lot of bowl games, not a lot of NCAA tournaments...

I can only remember this happening in 1994, 1998, and 1999 (in recent memory).

1990 for us...
9-2 in Football (Spurrier's first year) but on probation and made the tourney in 89...missed the 90 season.

That's impressive but I'm not surprised at all. UFs run in bball and football in recent history has been remarkable

Any year Ole Miss does not go bowling, we also miss the NCAA tourney. When Ole Miss goes bowling, we still miss the NCAA tourney.
