re: Tamu can add Texas back now

The two schools won't be facing each other on the football field anytime soon.
And it's not about football match-ups and/or which team is better during any particular season.
Nor is it about anyone being "scared."
We won't be playing, because the blood between the two is hella bad.
Neither side wants anything to do with the other.
I can't speak for my Aggie brothers and sisters, but I don't ever want to interact with their fans in my lifetime.
