So what happens when other "power" conferences refuse to schedule SEC teams

I wonder with other conferences going to 9 game format if this will potentially leave the SEC on the outside looking in? I think we just need to go ahead and play 9

Well I don't think MSU will have to worry about schools being scared to schedule them

They lose revenue. Pure and simple.

Think about it: What conference can afford to have shitty out of conference schedules because of their conference strength?

As long as we keep getting the best recruits and paying for the best coaches, the SEC won't be left out. With a weaker SOS, it may be much harder for a second SEC team to get into the playoff now.

USC already has that built in....we're also scheduling other NC teams to play in the future. Many of those will be Big 5 members, like UNC, NC St. USC once again a step or two ahead of the rest of the SEC....

Hasn't been a problem yet. All schools except Ole Miss, Missippi State, A&M, and Vandy already have one on the schedule this year.
