I do agree with you. But I also find it hard to believe that not one bama athlete profited a single penny from the text-books. That's what the NCAA said anyway. All of this happened while bama was still under the 5 year window....so bama got off easy to be truthful. You gave up some wins. You didn't lose scholarships. You didn't miss out on post season. The money from the vacated games was already in the bank.

I know exactly how it worked. I was on scholarship at Alabama and had use of a book scholarship. It wasn't hard to get books for friends. But the system didn't allow for money to exchange hands. Similar programs at Nebraska and UNI existed and they were not punished after investigation.
