He needs to spend the rest of the year keeping his nose clean and enter the draft next year.
He could improve his stock by going to another FBS program/JUCO-> FBS program. Not because of his ability to play but because that is 2 years of having to stay out of trouble, a team will be willing to draft him higher and thus him gaining more money in that first contract.
As it is currently, a team isn't going to draft him high as his production has not been to a point where teams are going to put up with the off the field stuff and pay him large amounts of $$$ in the process (relative to others at his position).
Everyone is treated fair, but not treated the same. You produce on the field teams will put up with your off the field problems (to a point), you don't produce on the field, you find yourself playing MLS or trying out for CFL teams.

If he's smart, North Dakota State so he can win a 'ship and go to the NFL

His only goal is to go pro, so he goes Division II for a year and then to the pros.

They don't run a pro-style offense.

Yeah, but at his current rate he is more likely to end up playing the guards next season than he is anywhere else.

Biding his time at an FCS school. On measurables alone, he's no less than fourth. He blows up the combine and he gets moved up a round or two. Having a productive year is also a plus, as most considered him a bust until the last few games of last season.

This might be asking too much.
The guy couldn't go 6 months without getting into trouble in CoMo.

I think they could find a place for him

Well...they will not be pursuing him. Trust me.
