Pretty sad how Memphis or Phoenix would be a 4 or 5 seed in the east, and one won't even make the playoffs

It is something Adam Silver is discussing. Not only does it help the playoffs it also helps the draft function correctly.
If we miss the playoffs we will be a 49 win team with a lottery pick.
