Thought we needed a break from all of our nut kick threads. Sounds like we are about to clean up on our recruiting class this year. I personally cant wait to see what Pinks can do with theses kids.

No shite man. What a great start to the class with three 4*'s and a 3* and to think, hopefully more good news tomorrow with another 4*. Hearing good things about a 5*. And we haven't even ventured a half hour outside of the state yet.

You guys are off to a really good start. Not sure if it is due to being in SEC, kicking arse last year or staff effort, but either way looking good thus far.

My guess is winning in the SEC. I don't think we get this big of a start with just winning. And I don't think we get this big of a start with just being in the SEC. Combine the 2 and good things can happen.
I'm just happy to see that it seems there is a real relationship developing with the staff at ESL. Mizzou has done better than I expected in Florida and Georgia and expect that to continue, but I think we have to continue to hammer the midwest type states, giving those kids the chance to play close to home but in the best football conference in the nation.

That is so right Reedus we need to.keep up down south but keep.at it hard up here also.

Yeah, I assume it is a little of multiple factors. Whatever it is however appears to be working.

States like Iowa, kansas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Nebraska, etc. will be very critical for Mizzou's recruiting as far as stars go. We won't pull many 4*+ kids out of Georgia, Florida or Texas.
IMO, we have a decent shot at those kids from the midwest states because high level recruits want to play in a league like the SEC and we are their closest landing spot. We have pulled 4* kids from kansas, iowa, and illinois before. We should be able to build on that.

Already are out of GA and the GA/FL connection is the new Texas so there's that.

Drew Lock would be a great acquisition. Going from Mauk to Lock would be a good transition. Cant forget about Zanders, but I have yet to see his hudl tape. Not sure how good he is.
