Oh yeah I don't expect Chavis to turn into a good recruiter. I kinda more expect Sumlin and the rest of the coaches to use his reputation in their pitches, like we did with Mack. We didn't need another good recruiter, we needed credibility and he brings that in spades.

I would love to find some diamonds in the rough, that would speed up our defensive transformation.

Come on down I say. One good thing for us is we don't have the pressure Texas has with needing to stick with Texas kids (or brand the crap out of it when they don't). If our roster is half non-Texans I don't care if we are winning, I think most Aggies are the same way.

I don't think we will. We might, but my bet is on 2 four star types.

Yeah I might be wrong on that but you never know, our QB depth is shallow and things happen. Honestly I wouldn't mind if A&M signed its first three star QB if it is some buy who has loved A&M since he was a kid and doesn't mind riding a bench for four years.

Thank you for the feedback tmc! What are your predictions?

Probably will be a big class. CGSC will post soon to tell us we only have x seniors so it will be small. And we'll recruit like we're going to 25 anyway.

We're in good shape on a number of top guys so I don't expect a ton of new offers any time soon. We have quite a few new coaches who haven't had a chance to run guys through practices and really know what they have. I do think it's safe to say we'll take another 5 DBs or so in this class.
