Fifth is about right, actually. While the paper was hardly a model of intellectual virtuosity, it was relatively coherent, had functional transition, and managed to be reasonably lucid. It's about the level of the average fifth grader.

The NCAA does not get into academic matters. As long as the classes are offered to all students. (Auburn Sociology, Bama classes in football).

Well that's scary. The average 5th grader is much dumber than I knew. I suppose my 5th grade class must have been quite advanced.
