Winning your division based on a round robin with your division is unfair? Other than it being the best and most equitable way of deciding such a championship, I completely agree.
It's a better system that keeps the permanent opponents together. Can't do it though, because...it would make an Alabama/Florida match up mean as much as Bama v Akron? Right.
