Meanwhile, Arkansas - the lowly 5th seed, is definitely in line to get an at-large bid barring a poor showing in ATL.
UGA beat us essentially on a buzzer beater at their place. I sincerely hope we get another shot at them friday although we are playing like hot garbage right now sans the reg season finale vs a meh Vandy team.

Doesn't matter. UGA basketball sets out each season with one goal in mind: Get the 3 seed in the conference tournament.
They accomplished that. Thus, they had a better season.
