Hell, on any given 3rd down play, half the D would be looking to the sideline or bouncing around in formation as the ball was being snapped

For the sake of argument what will everybody say if Coach Grantham has tremendous success up at Louisville right out of the gate. Some of you will be eating a lot of crow pie.....

This could very well happen but does it mean his scheme is legit?? I'm not buying it. That could mean a number of things. He could have simplified the scheme for those players or the talent level they are playing against is a dropoff.

Whatever the reason it doesn't change the fact it was obvious there were players yelling at eachother on the field trying to get guys lined up. This type of confusion cannot happen even for a second or it puts the defense on their heels.

What will it mean if we have success right out of the gate under Pruitt? Does that mean Pruitt is a genius or the players are a year more experienced?

The facts are we have been able to recruit NFL talent but they have not been coached up defensively. Even in 2012 our guys seemed to rely on sheer talent and not scheme.

Hell our five star OLB (Jordan Jenkins) even said in an interview he would revert back to what he knew.
