The Grant situation sucks because my head says he needs to go, but my heart really wants him to stay and succeed.
Knowing he'll be here at least one more year, I am somewhat encouraged that a big man is finally emerging in Taylor. That's something he hasn't really had since he arrived, except his first year with Green. And I think he and Green spent most of that year butting heads so he didn't play to his potential.

Which will buy him another year of mediocrity. He's not going to suddenly turn into a great coach. Sure, some years will be better than others, but none of them are going to look much different than what we've already seen.

I'm in the same boat. I don't think the guy forgot how to coach, but for whatever reason it just isn't working out here. I fully expect he'll end up having success somewhere else which makes his situation here suck even worse.
