As a 10 year old playing at the highest level of hockey playing time should not be equal. Players should learn, even at that age to accept their role on a team and contribute within that role. But the kids playing A2 instead of AA really should get relatively equal playing time. And for instance, church league and YMCA soccer should be an atmosphere that promotes fun and fairness. Find the competitive stuff by playing club.

Read the actual article VnShaft. This isn't about deemphasizing winning. The coach cheated and got caught and either he or the press is trying to act like it's a 'everyone gets a sticker' scenario.
