It's easy to say we looked good last night, but I thought I'd go a little bit more in depth with how. We rebounded WAY better. It was probably more about Ole Miss really not having that inside guy but it's clear progress. Our ball movement was gorgeous. We FINALLY started making cross-court passes when they were open. They've been there all season, but our team just either hasn't seen them or chose not to take them. I can't even express how much that helps our offense. WE WEREN'T AFRAID TO PULL THE TRIGGER. This has been another pet peeve of mine this year. We've passed up a LOT of open shots in the past with pump fakes and driving into double/triple teams. Last night they put the shots up, and it clearly paid off. The defense was fantastic as usual. The biggest thing was ball movement and the ballhandler seeing the whole floor. I can't say enough about how phenomenal our passing was. Instead of talking about "seeing improvement", I can finally say with confidence that this team actually looks good. Not just decent or "getting there". They look good.

All for nothing if we lose to Bama and have an early exit from the SECt.

Cautiousness aside, I really love how we've improved and played.
