All the lies and bullshite about what happened is going to come back and bite y'all in the arse, because you've given him the ammunition he needs to light a fire under coaches and players for next year. This is what actually took place (or better yet didn't) regarding the entire thing...
"Look, I had nothing to do with the 10-second rule. I was asked by the rules committee and the officials to come and speak to the rules committee relative to pace of play. Were there player safety issues involved in that and is there a game administrative problem with that? So I went and did that. I didn't vote on the committee. I didn't offer any solutions to the problems. I just gave my opinion, but presented a lot statistical data that would support the fact that pace of play is creating a lot longer games and a lot more plays in games."
Saban has been a lightning rod for criticism and opposition to the proposed rule. That's the advantage and sometimes disadvantage of the unofficial spokesman status Saban has earned around the college football landscape due to his unparalleled success in the sport over the past six years.

Yep.....y'all done gone and pissed the man off now, and as they say in Texas, when you frick with the bull, you get the horns!
