He's brought it on himself by taking center stage in the offense rules change deal.
Folks are like, "Oh, that's right. Bielema. What's up w him, anyway?"
He'd probably do best to zip his mouth.
Wouldn't surprise me if the PTB at Arkansas have already shared similar advice w him.

Player safety will prevail, and voting is not until Wednesday

the obsession some of you have with our HC is unnatural, abnormal, and kinda perverted/creepy.
But, if it keeps your relationships centered, who am I to judge.
Enjoy your open relationship. Pics?

When you talk smack and win games it makes you look funny but when you talk smack and then get 50-60 point losses hung on you, it makes you look like an arse.
Bielema is not an SEC caliber coach, he coached within a plug and play type system at Wisconsin and did not have to do much coaching. Arkansas is not the same type of job it requires a coach with a system such as Bobby or Gus to be successful. Too bad the AD could not see it but he will be looking for a job at the same time Bielema does so there is that.

Some of this is true, but not all. We would have been more successful sooner, but his his system can work in the SEC.

I also wish he would have gone in a different direction (system style) on the coach, the players we had fit an up tempo style. Nonetheless, Bert seems to be doing things the right way and we will just have to be patient until the players are in place.

This bert-thread obsession is tragic and funny.

I don't see an obsession.
Most scratched our heads at the initial hire, then BB has done nothing but put his foot in his mouth since he arrived in Arkansas.
He brought every bit of this on himself. Probably the best thing to come out of his move to Arkansas, Wisconsin has improved their recruiting rankings.

Wisconsin was a program built by Barry Alvaraez from the ground up.
Alvarez took over from Don Morton who was awful who took over from Jim Hilles who was awful. It's Alvarez's program. Alvarez was there for 15 years. He was 8–3 in bowls!
Bielema, a trusted assistant, was handed this machine on a silver platter and didn't change anything. He just did as Alvarez had done. The wins they amassed were because A) Bielema was just operating the bulldozer Alvarez had built B) Even though he's not the coach Alvarez is, Wisconsin played so many weak sisters of the weak Big Ten that their W/L record and bowl bids would look great so long as he didn't royally screw up.
The truth is that, against the power programs of the Big Ten - Michigan, Ohio State, and Penn State, Bielema had a losing record. It was the ultimate cherry job!
Now Bielema is in the opposite situation. Instead of inheriting a program that's rolling along, he's trying to rebuild one that's run aground. Instead of playing the weak teams of a weak conference, he's playing the best teams of the best conference there is. Bielema was not qualified for the job and it's showing.
Arkansas hiring Beilima would be like Chris Farley's incompetent character in Tommy Boy being hired away by a rival to Callahan Auto to be their CEO. You picked a company that wasn't really that great and hired the one guy who had nothing to do with what success they had.

Again you will be proven wrong. He has no system and relies on good offensive coordinators to help him through but this is not the Big whatever conference. You can not take off a game and then play another one. You have to bring your A game every game something Bobby knew. Petrino was good for 2 or 3 wins alone per season just from his ability to out coach his opposition. Bret gets down and he can not get back up, so the games that Petrino would win, Bret will lose.
I really do not understand why more of you all did not see this from the get go. Hogville bans everyone that talks crap about Bert and crew then tries to defend his 3 or 4 game win seasons by saying we will be better next year. Here is the deal, next year or three years from now the best Bert can do is 6 wins. What does that tell you? Will you still defend this idiot when he posts up worse records than Houston Nutt while drawing at least a million maybe two more than Nutt ever made?
It might be funny to some but Arkansas fans are not going to even go to games watching a dead last SEC West team that keeps losing year after year.
Arkansas is the Cleveland Indians of the SEC.
