Feldman: 0.0 ppg
Bello: 2.4 ppg
Price: 1.3 ppg
Rosburg: 4.8 ppg
Haith: 0.5 ppg
Biedscheid: 6.2 ppg
Clark: 4.1 ppg
JW3: 6.1 ppg
Jones: 1.4 ppg
Rector: 0.4 ppg
Gant: Hopefully 30.0 ppg
Wright: Hopefully 30.0 ppg
We have 28 ppg returning next year. Now, hopefully, there will be some improvement in these players. So maybe we can expect 40 ppg. If we can get that kind of increased production from the existing players, maybe we'll only need 20 ppg out of the two true freshmen.

I hope the train falls off the tracks next year so we can move beyond the Haith years once and for all.
Now, FIJItiger would tell us that Haith is solid, the stats prove he's a winner, and that we are overreacting.

Does he post over here? I am Kilgore on tigerboard.

I don't think Fiji posts here. If he does, I have no idea who he is. Would love it if he did though, he's incredibly knowledgeable.

I don't know who is going to score points next year, maybe that's a good thing, maybe we can have a team effort for once.

There's a novel idea. What is this "Team" you speak of?

Biedscheid will be a key, once he becomes eligible. JW3 and Clark need to improve big time. Rossburg will need to keep progressing. Gant and Wright will be sorely needed to be major contributors.
Bello and Price aren't going to score much, if at all. They were highly rated prospects coming out of HS, but that was based on their athleticism, and nothing they've done in college so far suggests either will become a double digit scorer. Who knows what (if anything) we'll get from Post, and while I like Jones' upside, I don't think we'll start seeing him reaching that until his JR year.
I've been telling people complaining about this season that next looks to be worse.
But then maybe, without all the NBA wannabes, we'll see better team ball and less trying to show off your 1-on-1 abilities, although could be the coach's preferred offensive approach. Any success this program has next year is absolutely dependent on finding a team oriented game and playing it consistently and well, a la the first Haith squad.

Fiji is actually being pretty rational. He said today that there's nothing encouraging about this team or last night's effort but Haith isn't getting fired this year. That's all true.
And I'm the808bass over there. Weird. I don't post much there, though.

That is more than Kentucky has been returning the past 4 years. Except for last year that had not been a problem for them

And we don't have 8 5-star freshmen coming in. But the same as UK otherwise, sure.

But we got Faith in HAITH.

It is. The difference is UK 5 star freshmen have NO college experience. Ours have some. You are starting from scratch at UK. At least Haith has players who have been in a bad system for 1-2 years

What are the chances Clarkson or Brown come back? They both seem to be sliding down most draft boards. I'm wondering if their stock would get so low that they'd come back. CBS has Clarkson being the last pick of the 2nd round and Brown not getting drafted at all. Most others I looked at didn't have them that low though.

I am torn on this. Without them we will be total dog crap next year, but with them it might just be this year all over again because I don't see a big that is going to step up and improve....
A part of me just wants them all to leave so we can start fresh.

They don't play a lick or defense. I'm not sure Brown could if he wanted to.
I feel that at least one of them will be back. And there's a non-zero chance they're both back.

Yeah. But given the choice, I take Willie Cauley-Stein of last year over Wes Clark of next year.
