While I get the argument that the SEC is down and might not fair well in getting bids to the tourney this year, I really think people who just say the SEC is terrible doesn't watch many games. A lot of the schools on this list are very good at home which is part of it, and there are really 10 or 11 pretty solid teams. Not many easy wins in the league.

For example the Big 12 and Big Ten are the 2 best leagues this year. They each have 9 RPI top 100 teams. That is the same number that the SEC has. Ya we don't have as many top 50 teams but I don't think it's right to call this a bad conference right now.

As far as the rankings, I really think about 3-8 you could rank them any way you want and make an argument for it.

For Example LSU and UT might be the most talented teams behind the top 2 and I have them at 5 and 7. Mizzou has a top 5 backcourt in the country. Arkansas is playing as well as anyone right now, and Ole miss has played a brutal schedule lately and is a threat to beat anybody just like last year.

As a UGA fan I would be nervous about matching up with any of those other 5 in our first SECT game for sure. It's going to make for a fun last 2 weeks and a great conference tournament IMO.
