Were any of those LSU players track guys...sprinters? I call bullshite on some of the slow times I saw today. I realize that the starting position is so the scouts can get an equal measurement across all players, but for a player not trained to sprint in track, that has to be the most awkward starting position possible. I don't know about Blue, but Hill is faster than that.

The trained track guys were the ones burning the 4.2-4.3 times. I think the long jump, vertical and timed agility drills tell you more than the 40 about a player's potential

I've never thought of this but makes sense. if you are familiar with track starts you have an advantage.Even thought these guys have been training this for a few months not. I personally think you should start in the position you would actually play in. only Dlinemen and maybe Ol should start with a hand on the ground.
