So you should be allowed to change a rule simply because you don't like it?
If so, why not allow the coaches who do like it to have an equal voice?

Seriously though, they are getting their say.....ultimately it will get sorted out....but Saban has voice just as they do......

Sounds like he wants to create rules, not that he doesnt like a rule

Wonder why?
Don't like a rule because it benefits someone else, change it. Sounds petulant to me.

As an SEC fan I am embarrassed for you. The issue is real. What it boils down to is does the NCAA want HUNH offenses to maintain an advantage that has led to higher scoring games. LINK Defenses will continue to counter with fake injuries to allow them to substitute as needed. Personally I would rather just allow defenses to sub as needed since offenses already have the advantage of knowing the snap-count and the likely point of attack, etc. It's a guessing game for defenses and they definitely expend more energy when they guess wrong.

Well it is "offense" hence the definition and the Offense is subjected to far more rules pre snap than the D

The mistatke was making this a "safety issue" when there is nothing that shows this. Are we to think that basketball and soccer need more breaks in in because of safety? Coach Saban says "make their arse quit". Isn't the HUNH just another way of trying to accomplish that?

I think the 10 second snap proposition is dumb and not really enforcable anyway. Wouldn't they have to make exceptions for 2 minute drills at the end of halves? Every team has to run the HUNH at some point due to a half ending.
What I don't like is when teams rush up to the line (to prevent defensive substitution) and then meerkat towards the sidelines, and wait 15 more seconds to snap the ball.
I'd fully support a Meerkat/Defensive Sub rule.

The D is able to sub if they want at any time while they are doing that, just need to be fast and attentive

Do you have a problem with the offenses' rules regarding their substitutions?

The defense has it's own advantages too. Like being able to move around as much as they want, in attempt to get the ofefnse to jump.
