HoF coach who is a bit bitter the timing wasn't right for him to take the Alabama job

Jesus man, this is the dumbest shitI I have seen today. The world does not revolve around Bama. You think Spurrier wanted the Bama job and now that he did not get it he is bitter about it? I doubt the HBC is bitter, he lives about as good and fun of a life as anyone, especially anyone in his preofession.

If the golf courses were better in Birmingham or Tuscaloosa he'd have taken a harder look at Alabama instead.

It just makes gumps happy to attribute every possibly negative thing ever said about them or anything related to them a case of jealousy or little brother syndrome. That's comfortable. It keeps you in the bubble.

I think Spurrier probably could have had the Bama job if he wanted it but he was determined to prove that he could take a traditional loser program and turn it into a winner which he has done to some degree but not to the level he was hoping for. He was envisioning people telling him he was the greatest coach of all time after leading USCe to a NC. Now it's pretty obvious that'll never happen and he's bitter about it. To top it off, he's had to watch Saban win three out of the last five NCs and stealing any thunder he might have gained in turning the cocks around.

Therefore, he feels the intense need to try to undermine Saban at every turn. He's a freaking douche and always has been and anyone who admires him and his childish bullshite has a bit of douchery in themselves. Just my opinion.

I guess you missed the time when he admitted it.

It really doesn't matter - denial is a self serving drug - so have another dose.
