That's a short term solution that creates long term problems. Those are your future season ticket buyers, or at least you hope that they are. If you don't expose students to the fun of live attendance while they are at school, it's hard to imagine them suddenly acquiring in interest in purchasing season tickets when they are in their 40s and have the disposable income and time to do so.

Knee jerk reaction imho. A better solution would be to stop scheduling high school teams and pretending they are legit competition. An 11am game against a deaf girls' school does not excite anyone, certainly not students who have better shite to do. I am happy BDS is 1/4 empty when they bring in those tomato cans. I hope Battle and Saban look at those empty seats and get pissed at themselves, because they are to blame.
