This isn't the original flame thread that we usually see. I have never been to Swayze and I am actually curious to what you guys think. I'll be making a trip up there for a series to visit one of my buds. What would be a good series to watch, matchup wise? Where do the KA's sit? Where is the best spot in the outfield? Thanks for any help guys.

If you wear a State shirt at an OM game that State isn't playing in, then you're a douche

I went to my first State game last year for the regional and I'd say they're just different. You'll have a good time at either and will inevitably find yourself inebriated by the seventh.

LSU and Arkansas will be the best series to attend this year.

A lot of the fraternities and sororities just mix amongst each other. The group I went with the last couple years were from numerous fraternities different from my own.

Don't get behind a column.

You wouldn't get shite in the first or second but I'm sure one or two jackasses would make you Enemy No. 1 by the end of the game/cooler.

I'm of course partial to Swayze because I'm an Ole Miss grad, but I enjoyed the time and hospitality I got in the left field lounge. You'll enjoy it but maybe steer for neutral colors.

I wasn't going to do it

Just wanted to hear some answers. IIRC, I don't think I've even worn at Mississippi State shirt at an away Egg Bowl.

You will sit in right wherever you can get a spot.

The best games will be whoever the best teams we play are or the spring game weekend

No, you won't get shite. A bunch of drunk students will love that you are wearing a rivals shirt.

Unless you're a confrontational bro, I wouldn't wear a state shirt. Most people won't give AF, but there are other confrontational bros out there. (I wore a buddy's state shirt to ya'lls Auburn game in 2012, and still had some Delta bros giving me a hard time about OM )

I'm glad you asked this. I was looking into going to the LSU-Ole Miss series with some guys and am looking forward to eventually sitting in the left field lounge. I would kill for LSU to have something like it

eta: didn't mean to comment towards hottytoddy

I'm glad you think this. All my LSU buddies think it's trashy as hell, but it's baseball, It's an odd game. I told them anything is better than those bleachers that torch your arse on a spring day.

ETA: I also, hate how the bleachers are so high up in the outfield. What's up with that? At State, you can literally rest your arms on the fence

My dad used to go to games and sit in LFL in 70s and 80s, he said they would dump beers on the heads of opposing outfielders when they got close to the fence.

But to he fair, I am cool with any isolated section where the students can drink without any trouble so I'm cool with left field lounge. I want to try both

That's why I wrote in an earlier post "I'm looking forward to visiting ole miss for a series and sit in the left field lounge this spring.". I overlooked ole miss' section is in right field. It was a stupid mistake.

Pretty much all the same as long as you get a spot in the gravel with a folding chair. If you are all about that heckler life stand on the fence overlooking the visiting bullpen. That area has the newest risers and usually some pretty rowdy guys. If you like to grill make sure you get someone who has a tent to set it up early in the week up top. And to answer your other question a ton of KAs sit far right if you are facing the field closest to the score board.

If you want a crazy weekend come for the LSU series. Still don't know our team that well but if we aren't as bad as everyone is predicting and that series means something to both teams standings wise you will not be let down.
