I'm against college football becoming the Mizzou vs Auburn game every weekend, that shite is terrible to watch. There is Xbox, arena league, and Canadian football if that's what you like.

Then stop it. LSU gave up a combined 31 points to Auburn and Texas A&M last year.

Alabama gave up a combined 76 to both teams.

Obviously, there is a way to stop it. Why not try that?

I have no problem with teams looking for an advantage in however they can. Not every team can reel in the #1 recruiting class every year and have superior athletes at every position on the field. So, they have to come up with something to level the playing field.

I get that Alabama has beaten LSU the last few years. One reason is that they both run the same kind of offense and Alabama is just better and has smashed LSU in the mouth. But, LSU can beat the HUNH and Alabama can't - or, at least they can't stop it. So, the programs are growing in different directions.

LSU will beat Alabama again - sooner rather than later - and Alabama will have to deal with that AND stopping the HUNH, something that Saban has not proven he can do. The rest of college football is catching up. It is just a fact of life.

This is the best point so far.

All this "it tries to deceive the defense before they are ready" bullshite doesn't seem to apply to LSU. Why?

It's simple really: Saban is a control freak who doesn't allow his players the freedom to improvise on plays. They must be in position and must run the play he calls.

Les is the opposite. He encourages his players to use their heads and instincts to accomplish what needs to be done. This philosophy works against the HUNH.
