They finished with only 1 or 2 losses, won their Conference and a BCS Bowl Game. Which of their teams were better? They would've played for a National Title had they not taken that game in Dallas to start the year (Props to Kelly for not backing down).

This sounds like excuses...I know because they normally sound like the auditory equivalent of watching someone reach or overextend themselves to do something they're otherwise incapable of.

LSU was the better team on September 21; they started the game much better. I'm unconvinced that LSU was the better team in November. Auburn changed their offense after the LSU game; that's an undeniable fact.

LSU wins >10 games far more often than Auburn does,

Relevance? My point was that the 2011 team was exceedingly great and dominant compared to any other team of Les Miles' tenure. No other team that LSU fielded is on 2011's LSU. 2011 LSU was an all time great for LSU and completed one of the greatest regular seasons in college football history. No other Les Miles' team comes close to the number of accomplishments of 2011, the dominance, or being involved in a GOAT discussion.
