Was Eddie Jackson on the field during the IB? Did I miss where he got burned? Eddie Jackson's biggest problem is Eddie Jackson. He will be a good one once he gets out of his own way.

So Jackson would have made a difference in bama winning that game? No but Mosely and Collins both looked foolish on Marshall long TD run, the DLs were on their heels the entire 2nd half and Jones was still your starter. But I guess Bama didn't play their best 11 players on Defense that game.

I would agree with this.

My point is not this past year, but next year. The argument originated in what Saban is going to do to beat the HUNH besides campaigning. I argued that recruiting is one of those things that will help against the HUNH. Another thing that will help is better corners.
Eddie Jackson, assuming he will get out of his own way, will be solid by the time the IB comes around next year. He will have an entire spring and fall practice to help his technique. As you've seen, Saban corners seldom ever look good their first year.
I also think that one of Cyrus Jones, Anthony Averett, Mo Smith, Tony Brown, and Marlon Humphrey will be sufficient to man the other side. By 2015 I think we will have it on lockdown.

If we had better corner play, the two touchdown passes might have been prevented. Let me reiterate that the AU offense did well, and I am not arguing about us beating ourselves, but I am arguing what could be better for Bama next year. If we had better corners, we could have won the game.
