I didn't read that article, but can somebody help me out with how other schools will use this as a negative against Missouri in recruiting?

The quotes we're to the effect of "why did they cover it up?" and "what's mizzou hiding" and "are they a secret society." Kinda deal. The suggested ways coaches would go about is not by attacking Sam or being gay but just painting Mizzou as untrustworthy by raising questions like that.

Bottom line to that tactic though is its fairly straightforward that Sam could have told the media at any time he wanted, just like chose to at the specific time this past weekend. Even if Mizzou had deliberately tried to cover it up somehow, what the heck could they coerce him with if he disagreed and wanted to come out? Were we going to force the SEC Defensive Player of the Year to sit on the bench and potentially cost ourselves wins as a result? In that regard it seems pretty common sense that when Sam says this is the exact time when he wanted to announce to the world and not before or after, he means it. Hopefully recruits and their families understand that too.

And that's such BS, Sam himself said the the and staff were great, and the timing was all his choice. I won't give the guy the hit of reading his article. He's FOS. And if someone out there negative recruits Mizzou over this, they are a pathetic loser of. I have no respect for anyone whom would negative recruit anyway - if the only way you canals yourself look good is to try and make someone else look bad? You're pitiful.

Oh ok. That makes sense I suppose. Why should the university and/or team not disclose everybody's sexual preferences to the media. Those crooked sonsabitches. The nerve of them...trying to protect their student athletes.
